Johntae Laskey, Head Custodian

Washington Irving is proud to announce Johntae Laskey as our support employee for the 2022-2023 school year.

Johntae has a passion for kids and is always looking for ways to help all staff.

His favorite moment from the 2022-23 school year:

“My favorite moment was when the students, teachers and staff congratulated me for being Support Staff of the year.  All day I got surprises from everyone.  It made me feel appreciated and wanted.” 

His hobbies include:

Playing basketball, watching sports and listening to music. 

His favorite quote:

“Never wish your days away. Be thankful for the day the Lord has given.”
